This is my first time reading McCormac, only heard about this book because I liked the movie inspired by it, and it was à really good surprise, I fell in love with the writing style.
The film is really respectful of the story, so nothing was a surprise, but the short sentences, the raw reality, the descriptions of our devastated earth are efficient, intense and I was hooked all along. Even if we need a strong positive mood to endure it.
