Read this for a book club at work. It feels very much like the writing of a teenager, with her co-writer jumping in to fill in historical and detailed political information. I found the background and customs of the Pashtun culture very interesting, and definitely have a better understanding of Pakistani culture as a whole. Malala is an amazing and inspirational young girl from Pakistan who was tragically shot by the Taliban for speaking out for girls' rights to attend school. She opened my eyes to the struggles faced by the innocent people, especially in Pakistan, who are caught up in corrupt governments and political issues.
