What Members Thought
This is definitely NOT my kind of book. I understand that it is telling an important story about the way young black girls were treated in this era, and it is imperative that we work diligently to not let this be the case anywhere today! However, it was not, for me, an enjoyable story, nor was it at all realistic in my lifestyle. That may sound somewhat selfish, and I don't mean to imply that I don't care about the plight others may face; it just means that I have no way to relate to this story
