What Members Thought
This book is just "okay" for me. Although it kind of hurts to just give two stars to such an important classic, it really didn't do anything for me personally.
I wanted to read this book because I only recently found out that the pirate stereotypes mainly came from this book, not from real life, so I wanted to see the source.
I guess it was also a factor that I saw Treasure Planet and loved that movie so much, and it sort of messed up my expectations for this book. Oh well.
