What Members Thought
Interesting read. Definitely some heavy duty science fiction, not for the casual sci-fi reader. Some really interesting things, but not my favorite story. Some of the most interesting parts are the stories of how science and theory ran headlong into the Chinese cultural revolution and the machinery of Communist China.

I really didn’t know what this was about when I (finally) read book 1 (!) - but then how could anyone really describe the spirit of this sci-fi epic. Intense, funny, theoretical, and what’s next?
