Shelves: love-family-2014-summer-challenge

I've changed my rating for this book a few times. I just couldn't wrap my head around how a non-fiction novel dealing with such an 'event' could have a reporter conveniently present at the same time. Shame on me, what a rookie mistake. After letting the story sink in and reading a few interviews with Berendt, I realized that he was putting the reader first. Shelves: 2015-reading-challenge

This was my "antonyms in the title" #2015ReadingChallenge book. I read this book years ago, BUT, it's so different reading it now, having visited Savannah. The scenes are all the more vibrant now that I can add my own experiences walking through the squares, visiting Tybee, and soaking in all that Savannah charm.
