This is one of the typical why-didn't-I-start-reading-this-sooner? situations. I put off reading this book because I thought it would not interest me. And what did I learn: I should probably stop thinking...
The first thing that I really liked was the Greek mythology theme and because of that it was so refreshing (no vampires, no witches etc.). The second thing that I really liked was, of course, the main character Percy Jackson and for two things: male main character and his personality.

I guess I will be writing a review once I watch the movie!
I love the Percy Jackson series! It’s honestly a great read! In this book which is the first in the series, Percy is having troubles at school. He suffers from ADHD disorder, dyslexia and constantly being bullied. Weird things keep happening to him and he’s jumped from school to school because he keeps getting expelled.

Well here is another book that is not like the movie, and I am glad for it. I actually like the book better than the movie. I feel like you got a chance to see who the characters really are with their hopes and dreams. I am just interested in how the second book will turn out, and how the movie will change based off of the changes they made with the first book.
