Revisiting an old classic via audio book so my children could profit.
So many interesting themes for thought, many of which are still very present today. The close relationship between innocence, knowledge and sense is intriguing. I hadn't remembered much at all from my last read so it was a happy sad story which leaves one feeling pensive. Will finish the binge by re-watching the film too. ...more

I loved listening to the CD's. The pace was not that fast, and the reader read with so much emotion, you felt like you were watching the book, not hearing it. If you are going to experience listening to a book for the first time I would recommend you to start with this book!
