Really cool book with lots to think about. Why are some people so successful? I love the way Malcom Gladwell thinks and writes. A friend told me that her high school daughter took a mini-course on this book and I would have loved to participate.

Week 14 of the 2015 Reading Challenge - A Nonfiction Book. I am a fan of Malcolm Gladwell and although I did not enjoy this as much as Blink or Tipping Point, it was an interesting read. The chapter on plane crashes was fascinating - and terrifying.
10,000 hours -- that's what it takes to excel in your chosen field or talent. What many of us view as a gift of talent, Gladwell explains also involves a bit of luck. A fascinating view of what helps make sucessful people.
