Some of the same comments I made for LIFE OF PI, TIGER'S WIFE, VANISHING ACT, tho much more of a traditional linear telling and ending.
Tho much of book is told from viewpoint of seven-year-old boy, it's not meant for children--includes description of someone who committed suicide, creepy creatures, sexual seduction of father while mother is sent away. (I did like Hempstock female trio and their cozy home--hope to see more of them!

This book was not what I expected. More fantasy than I like.
Listened to this on my drive from WI to FL and forgot to mark it down. Engrossing story.
