I listened to the audio version. I don't know how the experience would be otherwise, but I loved listening to her read the stories. I love Tina Fey in general - I think she's smart, and she she says a lot of things that had me (as an assertive-type lady in her thirties) nodding in agreement. My husband loved the book too, but well - it's possible he might have a type. Highly recommended! ...more

Tina Fey is hilarious. As a "30 Rock" fan, I already knew that, but this book confirmed the fact. My favorite parts included Tina answering some negative internet forum comments and the chapter about her father, who she makes sound like the guy Chuck Norris wishes he could be. ...more

Sometimes you need to laugh – and this is the book that will make you laugh. Loved it. Loved the insight into her life. I will give future readers one tip – buy two copies – you will need to share many parts of the book with someone who is reading it at the same time. Thank you Tina Fey!

Shelves: read-in-2011

Before starting this book, I thought I would laugh at every word. While that was not the case (and honestly, that would probably be a bit much) I did laugh a lot. Not exactly a memoir, it is more like a collection of essays. Well worth reading.
