I really enjoyed this look at what could happen if the Queen became obsessed with reading. I could definitely relate to her desire to keep reading and thinking about books when she was supposed to be doing other things. It did make me wonder if the real Queen reads much.
I know I should have loved this book. But I didn't. I found the story of the Queen of England becoming an avid reader, ok at best.

Fun and funny. Sort of an awakening surrounding the discovery of books. 3.5 but rounding up. Very quick listen!

I loved the first 70% of this book and found it charming and funny. But then things changed and I did not enjoy the last bit nearly as much and honestly found the last 10 or so pages to be quite tedious and did not like the way it ended at all. ...more
