I learned about the new best seller everybody's calling the new Gone Girl a few weeks back. After reading the freebie sample of Paula Hawkins The Girl on the Train on my Nook, I really wanted to get my hands on an actual hard copy of the page turner, so I could, you know, turn the pages. But the book was just published January 13th so it's still in hardback and at $23 has been flying off the shelves, selling like hotcakes, number one with a bullet on the New York Times Bestseller List, so I deci ...more

This book wants to be "Gone Girl." I didn't like "Gone Girl" and I am not sure why I thought I would like this one. I cannot figure out how or why this book became a movie.

This book was meant to be a psychological murder-mystery type book. I thought it wasn't even entertaining.

I could not recommend this book to anyone.

Book that scares you

This was an audio book read, that definitely didn't scare me. This book was popular, but I didn't like it. I really disliked the main character and her drinking habit.
