Los animales de la granja del sr. Jones están hartos de trabajar esclavizados, y que ellos usufructen una parte muy menor de su trabajo, por lo que gracias a las palabras de un cerdo grande y viejo, se rebelan, echando al sr. Jones y sus trabajadores de la granja, quedándose ellos a cargo.

Así comenzará la evolución de la Granja Jones hacia Granja Animal, donde los cerdos, los más inteligentes entre estos animales, tomarán las riendas… y también el poder.

I read this book years ago and I'd honestly forgotten just how amazing it was. By making it about animals Orwell manages to get to the heart of the problem of the Soviet Union (and I had a lot of fun matching the animal characters to their real life counterparts). But he also manages to illustrate the problem so many societies have. How rights are slowly chipped away one by one, how scapegoats are created to allow the government to get away with whatever they want, and how the lack of education ...more
