What Members Thought

I know that this is supposed to be a great book about communism and it's evils, but here's a takeaway...those reading levels aren't always appropriate based on the subject matter. I read this in 8th grade. eady enough to read and understand, except that I knew very little about the Bolshevik Revolution and only a tad more about communism. I was forced to read this for school. Picking it apart sucked the fun out of reading the story. We had to analyze what role the animals took part in the communist government and why Napoleon (the pig) took the actions that he did. Ugh...
