What Members Thought

It was pretty hard to put this book down, and I feel liked I whipped through the 300 pages. The first part of the book jumps back and forth from a journalist's investigation of French involvement of the Holocaust and a young girl's story during a historical event. Although a few things seemed predictable (and I can't elaborate without spoilers) it was a good historical fiction book with a different story.

I had no knowledge of the historical events that form the basis of this story before reading Sarah's Key. The author did a wonderful job of weaving the modern narrative and the history together.
