One of my childhood favorites. As in all things, it wasn't quite as glorious as I remember it, but it was still pretty good.

I have read this a total of three times: once as a young child, as a middle aged tween, and just now as an adult. You can really gauge the magic of a story when it remains profound to you on such varying stages of the generational spectrum.
