I read and enjoyed Gayle Forman's If I Stay and Where She Went, so I looked forward to reading this one. I think I am not quite young enough to fully embrace this one. The basic plot is a recent high school graduate named Allyson meets a guy while studying abroad and runs off with him for one day. I just kept thinking, girl, you should not be doing this.
Things I liked: the parts about travel, Shakespeare, and how Allyson is trying to figure out who she is and how she wants to live her life.

The five star rating is pretty epic. I bestow this great honor upon this book because I was moved during the reading process. By what I'm not exactly sure...just all the intense feelings Foreman is able to capture, I suppose. Plus I was unable to put it down. I could definitely relate to Allyson's feelings and the way she reacted to situations. I loved the travel aspect and the growth of Allyson's character. Just One Year---up next! :)

Another great YA story by Gayle Forman. I can't wait for the sequel, Just One Year, to come out.
