Why did I wait so long to read this book? The description was completely unappealing to me. Cinderella as a cyborg mechanic? No thanks!
Well, I finally caved in to all the positive buzz I've heard for this series, and I have to say that I'm glad I did.

I was wary of this book from the beginning because I've never been a huge fan of retellings. I was optimistic though when I heard good things and saw good reviews on youtube and here on Goodreads. Unfortunately, I have to say I was let down by this novel. I was hoping for it to give me something more and instead it just kind of fell flat.

Really it was 3.5 stars for me but still an interesting world. Not my favorite book by a long shot but good enough I'd recommend it.
