It appears most people LOVE this book. I am not in love with this book. In my opinion, it suffers from "middle book syndrome." This is where the first book was wonderful and the last book is wonderful. The book in the middle connects you to the first and last book. I haven't read the last book, so I am not so sure it is wonderful.

I actually liked this one better than the first one. I think it went more quickly and was definitely more interesting. Plus, it gave more satisfying insight to Lisbeth and since she's the most interesting character that was definitely a positive.
I still think Larsson tends to ramble on at times and drags things out unnecessarily, but he didn't do it as much in this book. I think I will eventually read the last installment, but perhaps I'll wait a bit.

I finally get while this series is popular. I REALLY liked this book. Lisbeth Salander finally gets some major page-time and she is completely badass. That grave-digging scene? Epic amounts of awesome.

I didn't like it nearly as much as the first book.
