What Members Thought

Though I loved then first book immensely, I think this book will be my favourite of the Millennium Trilogy. The insight into Lisbeth and the determination of her friends to prove her innocence has been a brilliant part of the book.
The twists and turns at the end were fabulous, as in the beginning I had no idea where the book was going.
Again Mikael Blomkvist was an essential part of the book, and I'm really hoping that they make it into a movie with Daniel Craig. I must look out for the Swedis ...more

Now that I know the characters better from the first novel, it was easier to get into the second one a bit faster - however, I still think the author writes slow beginnings. I'm ready for the third novel now - I do want to know what happens to these characters and the ending of this book was a surprise to me.

Again, I have to say that this book (and the whole series) is very graphic and therefore is not for everyone. While this book did not have the same plot intricacies and intriguing mystery as the first book, it was very interesting to learn more about the main characters and their background. This one definitely leaves you hanging and makes you want to immediately continue on to the third book.

This book far outstripped the first, in my opinion. Can't wait for the third in the series.
