Thank god that's over. They got progressively less good with each subsequent book. Third one was as bland a a crime procedural as I've ever forced myself to sit through.

Not my favorite in the series but not bad.
This was a great finale to the trilogy, though it made me wish the author was still alive to write many more books about these fascinating characters. As a gadget geek and a technology geek, I really enjoyed that element, and I also liked the "anti-violence-against-women" theme throughout the series.

In the end, I liked the first of the books from this trilogy the best. I did think the courtroom action was the most interesting part of this book, but because there were more interactions between Blomkvist and Salander during the first book, that made it my favorite.
The whole trilogy has been an amazing read. The characters of Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist have held the books together. The plot has moved smoothly from one book to another and ended with everything tied up.
Really enjoyed this series. Not only does the storyline keep your interest, but the author's story is amazing, too.
