What Members Thought
Fantastic! I loved this historic fiction, love story, mystery thriller of a big book. The longest book in the shortest amount of time in my long reading history. This is also my first Stephen King book. I know I am late to the King party.
Like a lot of Stephen King books, this is probably too long*. It's also as much a romance as it is any other genre. I enjoyed it but it didn't blow me away.
*An example of something that should probably have been cut is a lot of the stuff in Derry. I kept expecting the creepiness to mean something, and of course it turns out it does, but not in this novel, but as a cross over with It. I've never read It and I have no current intentions to.
