The visuals in this novel are some of the best I have ever read. I could smell the caramel apples and sense the excitement of those attending.

The story itself starts off very slowly and it is not until the wonderful ending that you realize how great this book is. There is so much symbolism and so many connections that even now I am realizing things that I hadn't earlier. This makes me want to read the book all over again.
