Shelves: children-as-main-characters, fantasy, mystery, cozy-winter-read, magic-illusion
Brilliant imagination. Love the turn of the century setting. I found the plot's jumping back and forth on the timeline was confusing and not necessary. I enjoyed it for a while and then struggled on to finish. Admittedly, fantasy is not my usual choice.
