Not my favorite Austen...but a much needed diversion from the world right now. Some one said that Austen is like Linus's blanket. I found it comforting and safe to reenter her world. I can not recommend the audible edition that i listened to. The narrator was not very good and the sound quality and volume were inconsistent.

I was not expecting this book to be as good as it was. I had started it a few years ago and had enjoyed it, but someone stole it, along with some other things. I think that the love story in this book wasn't as thought out as, let's say, Pride and Prejudice. Austen focused more on the little details of a small life and not building up the love between Catherine and Henry. I loved the whole aspect of literature through the whole book. A classic. A tale of Catherine, a naive daughter of a country parson, who visits Bath and meets two families.

Henry Tilney is the most underrated of Austen's heroes, but he remains a favorite. :)
