I put off reading this for ages because I saw the movie and it was so awful, but this was a lot better thank god.

Fantastic. Page 7, laughed out loud, page 19, laughed out loud, and so on. I felt like an idiot because John Green has so many fans already and I am just now reading his work. So witty, so "Superbad"esque. Great character development with "Q" and how we view someone we don't really know and either hold them on a pedestal or think the opposite of them and keep this fantasy in our head, but in reality, that person is quite the opposite.

I was never much into contemporary novels, but is find myself constantly turning to John Green and every time I compare his novels and his characters and their similarities and I still want more. In the very beginning, I really liked Margo for her wit and sarcasm, but by the end of the book I thought she was selfish and self-centered and unwilling to think of how she made anyone else feel. Quenti ...more

As usual, John Greene weaves together a wonderful story. The characters are memorable, and of course there is that teenage longing for a quirky girl who seems just out of the main character's reach. Loved it! ...more
