Well written. Intensely sensual and romantic. Story had a point of wonderful resolution after 520 pages or so. I wish the author had stopped there and begun again with her second book rather than writing 300 more pages. I felt as though I were beginning a second book when I continued reading. In addition, the story became extremely dark after that point. The author managed, though, to maintain both a connection with me through skillful storytelling and my investment in the plot in spite of my us
