Emma is a delightful protagonist. She has just the right amount of sweetness, sourness, and pure wit. A terrific classic.

The more I read Emma , the more I enjoy it as a novel. When I was younger , emma was a character I found too spoilt and rather irritating- maybe I understand her a little more now.
It's probably really bad to say I like the movie better. I do still love Pride & Prejudice though.
