This book is epic. That's the only way to truly describe it. There are some books that create a world onto its own and on a grand scale. This is one of them. Martin brings the pages to life and pulls you in. And I hear book 3 is even better. I find that hard to believe because this book was so well done.

I really enjoyed reading this after watching the first season of the Tv show. Can't believe how much character development there is for characters that die. I got really caught up in the story, even though I knew what was going to happen, because it was so well written.
