More like 4.5 stars.

Not the typical new adult love story where the love story is strong, magnetic and riveting till the end. I felt the characters story dragged a little and did not have the emotional element that keeps the reader reading till the early hours of the morning. I still found the story sweet and endearing. Jamie McGuire is a wonderful writer and one of my favorite authors. I just didn't think this was her best book and it can't even compare to the amazing Beautiful Disaster. ...more

Trent has always been my favorite Maddox and he definitely kept that position.

It was a bit repetitive in the beginning, like the fights and TJ coming over. I have been suspecting who TJ was and I was indeed right.

Can't wait to read about the other Maddox brothers. ...more
