That one time a white person with no apparent southern accent helped black people with southern accents rise above their skin color. Calm down white people, don't buy too many copies at once.
Everyone likes it because it is well written, I do not deny this, plus, everyone loves revenge.

This book is so beautiful I can't stop thinking about it since I've finished it.
It made me cry, want to punch some of the characters in the face while wanting to hug some others, and some of its lines made me stop reading so I can digest them. It is written with such an authenticity that it feels like we develop lose bonds with the characters, and some other times I felt like I was an intruder in those people everyday life.
Having learn after reading that the author grew up in this universe and ...more
