One of the best books I have ever read! It is this generations "To Kill a Mockingbird." To Kill a MockingbirdI wanted to skip work because I was reading this book, so I could finish. It only took me a couple of days because I could not put it down. I can completely relate to Skeeter, and Aibeleen is the epitome of a strong woman. I think this would be a good book to read and discuss with friends at a book club. Definitely the kind of thought-provoking, historical fiction that raises big questions and examines the race relations of yesterday and today.
