This book is INCREDIBLE. It's so well written, very moving, swings me to different moods, laughing, smiling, crying and even angry. I woke up at 1.30 last night and decided to read the book. Couldn't stop reading it until it finished.

I finished it!
I cried as I read the last 200 pages in one day. The story is amazing, and reading the author's notes about her own history in Mississippi made the story even sweeter -- like one a Minny's caramel cakes ;-) ...more
