Just not my favorite. This book was interesting, Ursula’s life begins in 1910 and spans both world wars and Vietnam. I really wanted to like this book, I think the premise is fascinating: Ursula keeps living her life, and dying. When she is born again, she lives her life again and is able to “fix” what went wrong last time, only she doesn’t realize she’s reliving her life, for her it’s just the oddest sense of deja vu. For us, it’s the movie Groundhog Day but with more bombs and less laughs.

I LOVED this book. It was so moving and the writing was lyrical and intricate. I really felt that I was living Ursula's lives each time with her and it was impossible to put down. ...more
