I'm all for books with twists and turns that get you to an unexpected ending. I find it nice, as a reader, to be caught off guard, and have that didn't-see-that-coming feeling when I finish a book.
Gone Girl takes it too far, though. This book had me hooked throughout, I'd say, 90% of it. Then when I got to the ending, the author threw every possible twist in that by the time I got to the actual ending, I was like 'That's it?!'

I really enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting it down. I couldn't believe how crazy Amy was!
