Perhaps it was just me but I didn't enjoy this like so many others did. It took me a really long time to get through it as it just didn't excite me. I think one of the most exciting parts was with the dragon. I sure hope Lord of the Rings is a better read for me!

One of my favorite books as a kid =)
This was my first time reading The Hobbit, and I loved it! It was a fun adventure, totally fantasy, and just good reading. It kept me interested throughout, and although I have been told the other Lord of the Rings books are much more difficult, I am hoping to read them later this year.
