It was such a beautiful and moving story. I honestly didn't know what to expect since I bought the book the moment I saw it and it was on sale. I loved it much more than the Catcher in the Rye. Maybe because it was more relate-able than CITR. I'm not sure, but it was beautiful.

I didn't not like this book - the style of writing was really annoying at first with the letters. Then I got over it and really into the story. I remember feeling a lot like Charlie in High School because that's who Charlie is, he's all of us. Hopefully questioning things and trying to understand why people do/feel they way they do. All the feels! Charlie's letters to an unnamed friend are an emotuonal rollercoaster, cheering for him while crying for his sadness. The other characters feel real, with real situations and real reactions to what is occuring in their lives. All of them have their flaws but our flaws are what make us unique and human, right?
