The Great Gatsby is a tragic love story coated with crimes and corrupted minds. Nick Carraway, the narrator of the story, left his hometown to pursue his dream in New York. He met Daisy, his cousin, and her husband, Tom Buchanan, who had an affair with Mrs. Wilson. This isn't my favorite book at all... I just feel like it never goes anywhere. I know, I know... how can I teach HS English and not like The Great Gatsby? Good question....
