By complete coincidence, I was in a used bookstore Thursday looking for this exact book (and did not find it, although I did find like 8 copies of the Sparknotes). The first time I read Gatsby was in the 10th grade and I wasn’t really paying attention. The second time I read Gatsby was for a class called “Faulkner & Fitzgerald”- this is the only Fitzgerald book I finished for that class, although I did get about 37% through Tender is the Night.
