It's not particularly well written - and a bit too much sex, but I'm ashamed to admit I did enjoy the read.

The second book in the series is a quick read. In some ways these books remind me of the Twilight series. I keep reading the books not because they are so good. I am reading the books only to find out how the author will "shock" us and push the envelope. Not the best reason for reading a book, but not the worst. I will finish the series, but I am glad I didn't spend $30 to buy all the books. Thank you Ben Franklin for starting them in the US.
