I think I could actually like this book if they skipped the gratuitous sex and just told the story. The writing isn't what I call great and I still wince at the idea that there are people who idealize the sadist as their perfect man but to each their own. I need something real to cleanse the palate then I will dutifully finish what I started. *sigh*

I honestly like this better than the first. I love the fact that Grey changed big time. And also the fact that there are villains in this book. Finally, some struggle! The Leila-Elena-Jack worked for me. I'm more interested on what shenanigans they're gonna put Ana and Christian thru rather than focus on their sex adventures.
Still a sexy book, but with the new twist, this is better.

Christian is a mess. I wanna knock some sense into Ana.
I hate how Ana refers to her subconscious as if it's a different person. What's with referring her subconscious as "my inner goddess?" Ugh. ...more

some twists and turns, overall the book was okay. The storyline was still good and was unpredictable in this book.
So much to say about this odd and obnoxious book. More like 3.5 stars.
Best of the three books, for sure.
