This is going to be a difficult but fun review. I have mixed feelings about this book for sure.

"The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" by Cassandra Clare is a solid 3 stars. I say this because I have a love hate relationship with it. I hate that I loved it and I love that I hate it!

First, What I loved:

The story was pretty good overall. I thought the plot was engaging and set at a good pace. Most of the characters were well developed (or at least incredibly interesting) and that helped keep my ...more

I know it seemed like it took me forever to read, but I only read while I was at work on my breaks....I enjoyed the book very much, will continue with the series. Cassandra Clare is great with her characters, :)
