What Members Thought
This is going to be a difficult but fun review. I have mixed feelings about this book for sure.
"The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" by Cassandra Clare is a solid 3 stars. I say this because I have a love hate relationship with it. I hate that I loved it and I love that I hate it!

Cassandra Clare is the most amazing author I'v ever read a book from.
At first I thought there was nothing topping the way the Twilight-series was written, but then my friend Ina came along and said "Gawsh, anny. You need to read City of Bones. Jace is just so hot!"
Then, I actually start reading it.. and when you read a book, most of the time the first 20 pages are just so extremely boring that even watching reality-tvshows were much more fun, but THIS book. I read the first two pages and I was t ...more

Absolutely fascinating series about a completely fantastic world (right here in our own world, set mostly in New York City). I enjoyed this book very much and am anxious to continue the series.
July 2018 ... once again a very enjoyable read. There are so many twists and turns, surprises and unbelievable occurrences, with so much magic and fantasy that it truly is a delightful read.

I know it seemed like it took me forever to read, but I only read while I was at work on my breaks....I enjoyed the book very much, will continue with the series. Cassandra Clare is great with her characters, :)
I did not like this book. Had a hard time paying attention. Boring. Will no be reading the others.
