Brilliant! I absolutely love this series, I started reading it when it was still a trilogy, the last book (then) had yet to come out. Since then Clare has extended the series past the three books originally intended. That being said, this was a book I had seen a lot and walked by. Then it was proposed for book club and I got it on sale, not wanting to spend full price on something I wasn't sure I was going to like. I immediately ran out and got the second one upon finishing this one.

While I did enjoy this book, it did seem to come to a halt at one point and then picked up again like a roller coaster ride. That being said, it's a good storyline, new world of adventure, and I will read the next book. ...more
