As always a favourite read. Charlotte Bronte's novel is a masterpiece I. The world of literature and it's been lovely to see how many people love her book on what would of been her 200th birthday .

How much did I love this story. And I haven't read a classic in a while, and missed the way they used to write. I think it is amazing that Charlotte wrote this with a man's pseudonym initially, knowing she would be put off if she turned this in to the publisher with her given name. I also love how it became clear to everyone that it was written by a woman, and they called it out so she could be who she really is! This story could ONLY have been written by a woman ;)

I read this book because it was so heavily referenced in "The Thirteenth Tale" and I became curious. I have not read most of the classics - so I was not sure I would enjoy it. I loved it. The language - the writing - I felt like I was Jane Eyre from the first page. A wonderful story.
