This book won the Pulitzer, and I guess I can see why. A lot of people really love it, and I can absolutely see why. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same rapturous experience reading this that many others did. It was a beautifully written book, and the author certainly has a way with words. Beautifully written. Seamlessly moves between voices and points in time, never confusing the reader. Characters with depth and a realness to them which is rare. People to love and want to protect, people to hate but still not abhor.
Brilliant. Would recommend whole heartedly.
