I am having a hard time rating this, I think the writing was good and I am sure for the time the content was fun but I didn't really enjoy it that much. I read this because it seems to be so dear to a lot of people but unfortunately I don't get the hype. I actually started watching the mini series to see if I missed anything but it seems to be pretty much on par with my assessment. Very little happens in the first half of the book, people go to dinner and balls and gossip.
