I was not as impressed with this book as I wanted to be, which is why I am probably giving it a lower score than it deserves. I had such great hopes as I love the subject and have heard such great things about this series.
I hated Brennan. She was obnoxious, whiney, and a pain. I would have been furious if she was my forensic anthropologist and she went poking around and asking suspects and deceased's families questions.

Quite a gruesome insight into the world of forensic anthropology. I was interested to see how the books compared with the Bones series and also read up on the author's background. All quite fascinating and sometimes rather disturbing.
