Hilariously clever and creative as per usual with Sir Terry, but when compared to the genius of its predecessor Mort, it feels a bit like a regression to The Colour of Magic’s two-dimensional fantasy silliness. Entertaining as always, but something feels like it’s missing. Not my favorite Discworld story so far but I really loved the way the world was described and got fleshed out a bit more in my head. I will never forget the insects living in the Unseen University.
